Andrey Kunov, Ph.D., AmBAR President Andrey is the current president and member of the board of AmBAR. He is the founder and president of Silicon Valley Innovation Center. Andrey is a also co-founder of Credentiality and the US-Russia Technology Symposium (currently, the Global Technology Symposium, or GTS). Besides creating companies, Andrey is an expert in economics and politics of Russia and Eastern Europe. An author and co-author of multiple publications and a book on Russia, he studied and worked at Stanford University and in Russia as an economist and a political scientist. Between 2003 and 2006, Andrey had worked in Moscow as a senior economist at the Institute for Open Economy. In 2006-2007, Andrey had been an associate director at the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies, Stanford University. Andrey received his PhD from Stanford University, MA in international economics from the University of Newcastle (UK) and MA in transition economics and politics from the Central European University (Hungary). |

Alexei Kudriashov Co-founder, President and CEO, SperaSoft, Inc. Prior to founding SperaSoft, an offshore software development and outsourcing services company, Alexei was a Channel Development Manager with the Software Marketing Group, Sun Microsystems. He was responsible for business and channel strategy and management in driving adoption and deployment of Sun's business productivity suite worldwide. Previously, Alexei founded Martak International, Inc., a manufacturer's representative and export company, distributing hi-tech and medical equipment overseas. He received an M.S. in Management and Business from MIT, Sloan School of Management and M.D. from Volgograd Medical Academy, Russia. |

Leonid Litvak, Ph.D. Sr. Product Manager, Yahoo Before joining Yahoo Leonid managed several products at Microsoft (MSN Money and Ad Exchange teams). Prior to that he co-founded CallTheShots, an internet infrastructure company acquired by Akamai Technologies and worked for Financial Engines and Morgan Stanley. Leonid holds B.S. from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and M.S. and Ph. D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University. |

Eugene Mazo, J.D., Ph.D., AMBAR General Counsel Managing Partner, Parker & Mazo Eugene Mazo is the founder and managing partner partner of Parker & Mazo, a law practice focused on counseling clients based in Silicon Valley and in Washington, D.C., on various business transactions and complex litigation matters. Previously, he was an associate at the international law firm of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, LLP. Before practicing law, Mazo worked as a political scientist who focused on understanding law, politics, and policy-making in Russia an Eastern Europe. He was a Post-Doctoral Scholar and Research Fellow at the Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law (CDDRL), an Affiliated Scholar at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC), and a Distinguished Visiting Researcher at the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES), all at Stanford University. He has been awarded prizes for his work by the German Academic Exchange Service, John M. Olin Foundation, Social Science Research Council, and Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. A graduate of Columbia College, Mazo holds a master’s degree from Harvard, a PhD in politics and international relations from Oxford, and a law degree from Stanford. As a member of the California, New York, and District of Columbia bars, he has served as AMBAR’s general counsel since August 2010. |

Ms. Pogodina specializes in business, corporate, international and intellectual property law. She represents domestic and foreign companies in various corporate, legal and business transactions, including structuring and negotiating cross-border deals. Besides legal, Ms. Pogodina also has an extensive business experience. She was the Director of the Moscow's North-Western Branch of Miel Real Estate Agency, major real estate agency in Russia, where she managed legal, financial, and sales activities. Prior to Miel she worked for Trud Joint Stock Company, where she handled a variety of legal and business matters including international business transactions and real estate. Ms. Pogodina is a board member and a former president of AmBAR. |
